Tom,
If you took the defaults in the FCON $PROFILE file, it will look like
this :
FC MONCOLL PERFLOG ON 06:00 19:59
(This says M-F which is the default)
Mine is setup to collect data 7/24 and is as follows :
FC MONCOLL PERFLOG ON 00:00 23:59 ALL
(The "ALL" says to collect every day).
See the FControl MONColl command description for history log creation: The
default settings for the 'PERFLOG ON' arguments are 08:00 to 17:00 and Monday
to Friday only. Anything else needs to be explicitly set.

Sort of. There is some information on the line protocol, but nothing official.
There is a implementation of a PVM end node on one of the CBT tapes that could
probably be used as a basis.

Thanks for the info.
I've only read about what the CVM does from the CP Planning and Admin Guide,
but it looks like a complicated interface to clone. Is it documented
anywhere?

Last I checked, still special bid only. And quite expensive.
Maybe I should look at writing a replacement (at least a client implementation).

their existing cold-site DR z10 to a Z/VM cluster running CSE. They don't
