You can create a CP EXIT to front end the LINK command. Look at manual
"CP Exit Customization".
What are you going to do when you detect a guest has issued a LINK

I need to use SSL support supplied by the SSLSERV service machine. It
was not installed during our ZVM install 18 months ago. I am not a
Linux person either.

I downloaded UM31830, received, applied, and built a new cp.
I also have VMSECURE's Rules facility installed.
The VMFVIEW BUILD screen shows me this:

We experienced our first CP abend in 6 years this weekend. Our 2 month
old ZVM 5.1 system running on a Z890 experienced an HPC010 abend. It's
not in the manual.
What is the root cause?
