Hi, Luis.
I think the Linux command that you are looking for is the "df"
commandit will show for each mounted file system, how much space is
allocated, how much is free and how much remains. Use the "-h" option to
get the returned values in terms that are easy to remember...MB, GB,
etc.,
Jim, we all miss you here at the workshop, too.if you could have
heard what we were saving about you at the reception tonight.;-)
Have a good one, too.

Hi, Leland.
I don't know what plans VM development might have for supporting the
hardware CPU Measurement Facility, like z/OS does with HIS, but I get
the impression that the CPU MF is meant to be used mostly by IBM h/w
support to detect and diagnose performance issues in the new processors.
My opinion of this is:
1) it should support all of the components of z/VM and not just CP.
2) it should be part of the SERVICE command, or at least part of VM/SES.
I do like the approach LE takes, being able to see what service is for
any given module.

Hi, Scott.
The file you are trying to send is not too big, its record length
exceeds what the PUNCH command supports. The maximum record length for
the PUNCH command is 80 bytes. If what you are trying to send to z/OS
(via RSCS) is a JCL file, make sure its lrecl is 80 and its recfm is fixed.

Thanks to EVERYONE on the list that responded to my request for
assistance getting SSL working after applying PK97437. I did open an ETR
with IBM and Mark was very quick to help me get things working again.
Regards,
Dave

It looks to me that SSLSERV is not finding the NSS it's supposed to be
using.

DTCRUN1011I Running server command: SSLIDCSS
DTCRUN1011I No parameters in use
DTCSLD2420I Creating shared session cache queue: TCPIP
I've tried both methods of naming the files; using the nodeid and the
default. The behavior here is the same.

Now it seems to have heartburn with the :For. tag... which is present
under the :nick.SSLDCSSM section.
DTCRUN1005E Required tag :For. was not found in file(s): SYSTEM DTCPARMS
D1, IBM DTCPARMS E1
This log is sent to TCPMAINT immediately after TCPIP's PROFILE EXEC is
run.

Jim,
That is present also. Is it possible that having
multiple :DCSS_Parms. entries is a bad thing?

DMSACR1184E Directory VMSYS:TCPMAINT.SSLPOOL_SSL not found or you are
not authorized for it
DTCRUN1001E "VMLINK .DIR VMSYS:TCPMAINT.SSLPOOL_SSL <. A FORCERW>"

SFS entries didn't get completed.
Can I run SERVICE again and will it create the
VMSYS:TCPMAINT.SSLPOOL_SSL filepool and subsequent enrollment, or do I
need to do more research on creating this manually?
Thanks,
Dave Keeton

Hi, Alan.
Some more searching here on the system has failed to located any trace
of an FCONX MACLIB file, so I believe I will open a PMR on it on Monday.
Thanks for your help, Alan.
