If I remember well, it is fully explained how to install when you upload the files to VM. It must be different a bit: using a real DVD, it uses FTP to get access to the files that must be installed. When uploaded it cab directly read the files from a CMS minidisk. But, I don't have the installat

Yes, that will work fine. It is best that all paging volumes are the same type (i.e. mod 3) and actually using mod 3s for paging gives VM more devices to use and lets it do more paging in parallel. Just make sure your page space usage is 50% or less - if it grows above that, add more paging volum
