I have a problem with my Intel Imac where the USB ports go dead when I restart the computer - I simply have to unplug them when I restart, and plug them back in again after the computer restarts. I was told it probably started by using a very old AFGA scanner with the first USB - made in 1998 - I was told it probably shorted out the USB ports, and I get a USB overlimit warning, that the port the device is attached too will be deactivated - Dennis, San Diego
