Check-out IDE drives. I believe they are PATA drives, just with different
nomenclature. I believe you can still find 500gb, and perhaps a 1tb

Western Digital until very recently made a limited selection of
IDE/PATA drives under their Blue line, although they seem to be quite
expensive on retail these days. Check eBay or Amazon, you can probably
get a gently used or "refurbished" drive for a decent price. I haven't
