That's why i didn't suggest it. Anyway, just pull the drive and put
it in a PowerPC computer that can boot from DVD and go from there.
(If you do intel, it will either A)not boot the DVD or B) install an
intel-specific version

Like i said, i put the iMac's drive in the PowerMac and installed
from the DVD there. I dont think you can get a DVD drive for a tray
load iMac...
