You could do worse than look at the Epson L series. Integrated (Epson) ink
tanks, good size bottles of ink that mean you never get air in the
printheads. May or may not be available in your country; may need to get
one smuggled in!

I copied every printer related file I could find on my backup, and none of it
worked. The printer driver version number shown in the printer prefs never
changed, even though I copied a CUPS

Just take a razor blade to it, it's just there to act as a gasket to keep
dust out but I've pulled the stuff off of so many computer that it's came
loose on and it really makes no big difference.

After experiencing numerous overheating problems with my 24" iMac, I
went ahead and disassembled it and blew all the dust out. While I was
in there, I upgraded to a 2TB hard drive. I put it back together, and

Perhaps that card is bad. Perhaps it's just not fully seated.
A panic.log should have been written, that might further be able to

If you upgrade, make sure you get an Intel Mac as PPC G5s are little better
than what you have. Best value for the money remains the Mac Mini if you have a

Those were notorious for having faulty power supplies. I have had, and have
seen dozens just like it. It's most definitely your power supply. You can
buy a rebuilt one for about $100 on ebay.

Also, I forgot to say: If your mac doesn't make the special sound when
starting up, it means that you have to ZAP the PRAM, by doing this when
starting up: COMMAND+OPTION+P+R. If that doesn't solve the problem, you are
in deep trouble. If your Mac doesn't make the startup chime
from my experience, I have never had a problem with my iMac G5 Rev A, but
some of my friends who had Rev.A iMacs did have Power Supply problems, and
sometimes it did make a noise, sometimes it didn't. Check inside your iMac
to see if any of your capacitors aren't broken.

That's why Macs are nice to work on; you know exactly which model it is, and
there's guides online.
