*Job Title : QA with JMETER experience, * *Location : NYC, NY Duration : 6 Months* * * *F2F required after telephonic* QA Automation Engineer- Performance Role & Responsibilities: • As an integral member of the Quality Assurance team, your primary role will be developing and implementing test automation and performance testing strategies, estimating automation and performance script development and maintenance, and delivering automation suites for Regression, Smoke, and Project-driven testing. Specifically, you will: • Plan the delivery of the test scripts to be automated and performance tested • Create automated test scripts • Create and maintain performance test scripts • Contribute to identifying the test scripts that could be automated and conduct a performance analysis for scripting; prioritize based on business needs • Deliver automation and performance scripts using open-source tools • Provide mentoring on automation and performance testing to other QA team members • Be able to adjust priorities from automation to performance testing to manual depending on project priorities Requirements • Passion for finding ways to streamline testing processes • An understanding of the challenges involved in building popular applications at web scale • Proven track record of implementing automation and performance testing tools; expert level ability with open source automation tools preferred • Experience implementing testing in a continuous integration environment • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years experience testing Web-based technologies • Minimum 2 years experience in developing, maintaining and executing performance scripts • Strong experience working with large scale consumer web-based applications • In depth knowledge of SDLC, Waterfall and Agile methodologies • Must be Mac, PC, and smart phone literate • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and MySQL (or a similar framework & DB) • Experience with Java or other equivalent object oriented language • Knowledge of Unix or Linux commands and developing Shell scripts • Experience with using code editors and compilers (example: Eclipse) • Experience building out Performance Test scripts • Comfort with Git or another Version Control System (VCS) • Experience working with Jira preferred or similar PM tool • Must pass an internal technical review -- Regards, Kumar Gourav IDC Technologies Voice : 408-457-9399 ext 2047 Email- ku...@idctechnologies.com www.idctechnologies.com YIM :- ad.gourav -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
