with healthy balance between usability and advanced features
• Comfortable designing simple layouts, implementing wireframes

• Prior experience with Movable Type or TypePad APIs a huge

mobile applications with tools such as PhoneGap or Appcelerator a plus
• Shows initiative through open-source contributions and
personal projects
• Advocate for automated testing and test-driven development
practices
• Strong communication skills and desire to learn and grow with
a highly talented engineering team

*This engineer will need to work broadly across the TypePad application, as
he or she will be primarily responsible for:*

*Development*
*• *Take overall responsibility for the front-end UI code and
interfaces for the TypePad blogging application and for how blogs are
rendered on TypePad.
• Implement enhancements to the UI code such as:
• Mobile/Tablet Rendering — creating a default mobile and
tablet rendering for TypePad blogs. Will be created in a way that is
configurable by the user through the TP App or through CSS.
• Rich media experiences — provide TypePad users with greater
ability to have gorgeous images, videos and galleries embedded in their
blogs.
• Development of new compelling Layouts for TypePad blogs
• Integrate features from leading third party services.
