We are an Information Technology (IT) company, with focus in providing
Software Solutions, Software Products/tools, Software Consultancy and
Out Sourcing.
We are looking for the following resource for our client in Malaysia.
Position : Data warehousing Consultant
Work location : Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Contract Duration : 12 months
Start Date : Immediate (within 2 to 3 weeks)
Job Description:
a. Must be proficient in Data Warehouse (DW) Solutions covering
OLAP/ROLP technologies and concepts.
b. Must have used ETL tools for data extraction & aggregation works
c. Must have sufficient work experience in OLTP Database in view
of OLAP based DW implementation.
d. Must be capable of architecting and designing a data model and
creation of star schemas.
e. Must be able to perform develop BI/KPI outputs from the define
DW/OLAP server.
Technology Prerequisite :
§ Must have worked on SQL Databases including Oracle or SQL
Server (Source database)
§ Must have experience working on Oracle OLAP or Star Schema
Data Model within Oracle Database
§ Must have used ETL tools such as Ascentials, Data Stage
with preference for Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) for Data extraction
and Aggregation works.
§ Must have used Oracle Discoverer in creating BI reports
§ Preference to candidate with experience to publish
Discoverer BI outputs as portlet to Oracle Portal/IAS.
Other Requirements :
* Possess proper Communication skills with Customer - in English
* Able to perform consulting role in this area if required.
* Writing skills is added advantage - transposing design on paper
prior to implementation.
Note : Selected candidates will be working with our client's location,
under People Associates' payroll.
