yup, libc changes. take a look in the archives of the list and you'll see

I install JDK 1.2 pre-v1 as described in the
installation notes. Unfortunatly I can not tun java as it stop with an error
" cannot find libjava.so. ".

unfortunately the nameserver registers itself with the loopback device instead
of the ip-interface
which makes it unusable...
