I don't use JBuilder so I cannot be very helpful, however, the tar.gz file with the JDK in it is exactly what you need. There is no mumbo jumbo setup or config files that go anywhere, essentially you unzip the tar, it creates a sub directory called "jdk1.2.2" and you just move that dir wherever yo
