Hello,
Files with .bz2 extension have always (i.e. whatever is the file or the mirror used)
CRC errors when trying to decompress
them. Is it a problem I am the only one to encounter or must I have a specific version
of bzip2 ?

Hi,
I recall that Sun documentation etc..., uses a tar which Solaris specific (very long
paths are supported). Using GNU tar will either not extract all the stuff or put it in
some other directory in the path. I remember that it is documented by Sun
in the page where you found the doc.
