Hi, Happy New Millenium !
For NT problem, I want to transfer my servlet to Linux.
Now I have a test servlet in "RH6+Apache+JServ+MySQL" ,

Aint that just the way it goes. I suspect we've all forgotten most of
our earliest hurdles
because the ones that came immediately thereafter were real bears :-)
Never mind, they will see the bats soon enough

enough for my remaining three brain cells to grasp
To get 117v3 to work it needs the location of the jre script in the PATH

Hi folks
I don't have kaffe installed so it definitely isn't the problem with Java.
Thanks to Michael.Sinz for providing a few more points to check.
I have to leave this for a while now - I've been putting stuff off trying

I had jdk 117 working perfectly on RH5.2, and when I upgraded to 6.0 I

Where can I get a copy of jdk that's know to work on RH6 or is it wise to
get the source and compile it?

Having just moved to the US, I have ordered my PC from a box builder - it
will come with Red Hat 6 preloaded :-)
I would like to get into playing with Java servlets interfacing to an RDB
on this box.
My assumptions from lurking for the last week (please feel free to stomp on
them) are
