yes, you can upgrade the flash without problems on the RE2 but as said
previously its a bit work. You should use sandisk CF(v1) cards.
The RE will boot from the CF as primary media since its faster than the
hdd. However you can run the RE without flash but its not recommended

I should add that you should 'req sys snapshot' before installing the
card so that it will boot properly from the HD afterwards. Then you
should run 'req sys snapshot partition' to correctly partition and
restore the CF after installation.

RE-2.0 333 768 routing engine in this system,
'without' a flash card. There is no card onboard or in the back. Is there no
option to resize partitions or something?
