Hi Alex,
Yes I had great success doing this on around 12x RE2000's
I used Intel S3700 200GB SSD's. It lowered the boot time significantly.

Hello List,
So I have been using nested firewall filters for a long time now in the
format of:
term v4-accept-bgp {
filter v4-accept-bgp;
}
from a parent filter statement. This then calls the "v4-accept-bgp"
filter.
Recently I thought, I wonder if I can do this with policy-statements to

Hi Saku,
I was just wondering how you are populating:
source-prefix-list {
rsvp_neighbors;
}
Manually, or via an apply-path ?

Around 18 months ago I heard rumours that x86 based RE's were in
development for the MX104 chassis, but since then I have heard nothing
about them.

terminating into EVPN routing instances.
So far with EVPN I have only been dealing

and a RE-S-1800x4 in the other. Though, I would only do this as a
migration path :D
From memory you need to have Non Stop Routing and Bridging disabled
when running in this configuration, so there will be a small hit

Hello,
We have EX switches and are successfully carrying QinQ frames across
the switches.
Recently we have had the requirement to operate a number of CVID's as
untagged interfaces on the EX switches, but so far have not found a
clear answer on if this is possible, or how to do it.
e.g. SVID of 1
