Hi all,
I am using a QFX5100 2-member-VC as a L2 gateway in a centrally routed
EVPN/VXLAN setup. It seems that the VC redundancy does not work in this
configuration properly. For test purposes I am promoting the backup-RE as
master-RE and afterwards restarting the old maste
halted/powered off anyway?

Hi all,
after powering off a QFX5100-48T (request system power-off) the fans are
spinning down and the ALARM LED is lightning red. The switch is working and
looking as expected without any error messages.
Is this a normal behavior ? Has someone a spare unit for a short test ?
Thanks and kind r
Hi all,
we have a VC of two EX4200-24T running. We have BGP sessions (each IPv4 and
IPv6, default route only) running on each member to different upstreams.
Periodically we are seeing in var/log/messages on only one IPv4 session
code 6 (Cease) subcode 4 (Administratively Reset)

Have you considered EX4600?
It is like a QFX5100 but with less feature support. I have 2x in an MC-LAG
which has been great, but it supports Virtual Chassis too.

Hi all,
we have migrated our core (8-10x Racks, BGP default route, LACP to the ToR,
VLAN, L3, nothing fancy) to a VC of 2x 4200-24T with 12.3R12-S9. 12.3R12-Sx is
a recommend version for EX4200. We have had a kernel panic (no JTAC) and I am
not confident with this old setup anymore.
