Should I downgrade the new ex4200px and put it to the same level as what

I am have a ex4200 that is configured for a particular vlan vlan 244.
This vlan is configured on 2 ports. I can reach one device fine, the
other I am unable to ping the second device ge-4/0/16.
I can ping from it but not to it.
