Morgan, All I need is the USB power. It is an optical bypass switch. I was trying to avoid the usb hub on a remote power strip solution :-) That usbconfig binary would have been nice to keep! Clarke Le 20 mars 2013 15:50, "Morgan McLean" a écrit : Just curious, what is it that's han

Just curious, what is it that's hanging off? Does it interact with the router at all, or is it purely just getting power from the USB port? If it needs to interface with the router and you just want it shut off...usb hub with its power socket going to a remote power device? lol. Morgan On Wed, M

You can turn off/on the alarm and warn circuits via the craft interface, which might do what you want, could use that to drive a relay. joel On 3/19/13 11:50 AM, Morgan McLean wrote: I can see turning off USB from a security stand point, like disabling console toobut then again in the even

To answer my own question, I found out from JTAC that the ability to turn off the power to the USB port on an MX routing engine is not possible because it is "not supported". I thought Junos was built on FreeBSD. Aren't you supposed to be able to do just about anything you want with FreeBSD?
