[plasmashell] [Bug 454070] Ability to turn off grouping in history, for true chronological view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454070 --- Comment #6 from Alex Folland --- Created attachment 183409 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=183409&action=edit How is any of this chronological? I've attached an image of my notification history, and it's extremely not chronological. There's absolutely nothing in any kind of chronological order in it whatsoever, and there's a confusing message saying I received notifications during DND, but I have no idea what those notifications even are. It takes a significant amount of time to figure out which notifications are latest. The latest should just be at the top, and even the group with the latest should be at the top, with the latest in that group at the top of that group. Currently, as you can see in the screenshot, nothing like that is happening. I've added numerical labels beside the notifications in my screenshot to show what the real chronological order should be. It's just completely scrambled in every way imaginable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 454070] Ability to turn off grouping in history, for true chronological view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=454070 --- Comment #5 from Alex Folland --- Even the notifications within groups are sorted in the wrong chronological order, with the latest at the bottom instead of the top. This means the latest one is never at the top unless there's literally only 1 notification. I always have to scroll to see anything recent. By the way, the notification history keeps getting deleted between sessions and one-by-one when clicking notifications. I want to keep it indefinitely without it deleting anything, like in XFCE. I can't find any way to set that in KDE. If it was simply sorted chronologically with the latest at the top, it would make perfect sense to maintain the history forever. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

So we need a way to turn off grouping. Re-titling accordingly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
