All,

I am putting out feelers because I am considering selling this PowerBook

PowerBook has been upgraded only with the RAM it is at 2GB. Computer works
flawlessly and is currently running Leopard (10.5.8) but will be wiped per list
rules. Computer has minor scratches on both top and bottom. Battery is old and
only lasts maybe at best 30 minutes. Power Adapter is a 3rd Party that charges
battery and will run the laptop it will not for some reason boot the laptop
despite the company ensures me its a 65W Power Adapter. Took this by the Apple
Store to have a Genius check it out yesterday and with the Apple Charger it
will power up. Genius said it looks good just that the battery is very old and
should be replaced and he recommends getting an Adapter from Apple. I'm looking
to sell this because I want something that will run more current software if
possible Lion. Unfortunately, I do not know what the going rate is for this
machine, everymac.com quotes the default config $600 to $750 retail, but I
doubt I could get that much. So
basically I'm looking for how much people would pay for this machine or if
anyone has a MacBook Pro 15" that's an older model and might right Lion that
they would swap + extra money. I can send Photos if you would like.

Thank You,
Albert Carter
