https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172019 Julien Nabet changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME --- Comment #3 from Julien Nabet --- Thank you for the feedback so let's put WFM here since the initial problem is nowhere to be seen. Don't hesitate to reopen this tracker, if you've got the same pb. About file conversion, yes it's expected. Now perhaps you may use Office365 to convert your old doc file into a modern docx file or ideally an odt file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Bug 172019] Whenever I open a file, LibreOffice installs an update using Updater
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172019 David Spector changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #2 from David Spector --- Thank you for the advice. I uninstalled the old version and deleted most of the leftovers, then installed version 26.2.3.2 and haven't had any problems with unneeded reinstallations. I did have lots of problems with converting an old Word document to LibreOffice (with fields, lists, and styles), but that is to be expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
