Hi,
I'm modifying the "line-arrows.ly" example of the regression test in order
to create some indications in a cello piece. I've modified the edge-text
property in that way:

Hello,
How can I have blank space after the word in a markup like "viola", in
order to get more space at the end of the word?
Even if I'm sure that the answer to my problem is somewhere in the mailing

Hi!
In finnish this symbol is called "viiva" or "tenuto".
But generally, tenuto means , inside the "non legato" situations, the opposite
of staccatissimo: it is not legato (not yet), but you have to keep the duration
of the note until his end, where staccatissimo is the shortest duration

Hi,
By default, in a score, lily left align instrument names. How is it possible
to right-align the names? Or to center-align them?
I would like to have, as staff group name, "Horns", and I, III and II, IV
right aligned as staff names.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Mats, hi list!
I used your solution and it worked very well even if in my lead sheet, there

Hi,
I'm writing a lead sheet with one staff with melody and chords and I have
the following problem: because I have some repeats (\alternative), the chords
are printed above it, and this creates lot of space between the melody and
the chords.
There is a way to move the chords closer to the melody,
Thanks again, it worked perfectly, but just to go deeper in this, and to
understand better about lilypond layout, what I can do if I want to move
only the chords a bit up or down; i.e. now the chords are not perfectly centered
but they are closer to the upper staff.
