This works without the "me" as well.
I always declare my globals at the top of a script and then
refer to those globals inside the handler

Here's a practical example to bolster what Kerry said.
When you use me in a behavior, each handler that uses it
has access to the properties and globals declared for
the behavior.
Here's my generic rollover script:
property mySprite, spriteNum, orgMem, rollMem
on beginSprite me
mySprite = s

Briefly, "me" is the instance of the behavior or parent script--in your
case, probably a behavior attached to a sprite.
For example,
Hello List,
I have a query the answer to which i hope is very simple. When we give a behaviour
script the mouseup handler is followd by "me" . What does this stand for?

Thanks Ron.
It would be tremendously time consuming to to a frame

unfortunately I can´t spare that time.
Mainly because I want to use many diferent objects.
But I don´t want the box to change, just the car or
any object fitted into
it. I was thinking something in the form of

FWIW whenever I have a button which should animate when cliked, I add the behavior to
the scriptInstanceList during runtime. This prevents that the button runs an exitframe
with a flag saying if pFlag then me.Animate(). The animation behavior deletes itself
from the scriptinstancelist when done

there's an extra backslash in the second half:
with the moviepath &"\CD\Reader\Acrord.exe
the moviepath includes the delimiter, so you'll need to take it out
before CD.

Perverse curiosity:
Is it possible to make a Projector AppleScriptable?
I don't have a project in mind, I've just started messing with
AppleScript and I'm curious.

since you have the starting "\" in the Reader app string, then try it
in the file string.

Well, where is the .dir you're working on in relation to the blizt.pdf?
If you're working on

that called Reader, etc...

I have a stupid problem. I am using this lingo to open a pdf using the CD
self contained version of Acrobat. I copied the lingo from another project I
did. It works fine there. When I paste the lingo in the new document and set
up my folders, I get a error from Acrobat reader saying the file is no
Hello everyone,
I hope you can help me.
I am creating a little graphing program. The way I've decided to structure
this program is to divide up the different types of graphs into their own
movies and then bring them all together by linking them externally to a
'container' movie (I don't know if t

Hi Sreedar. I have never created a jigsaw before, but found a "how to"
for a jigsaw puzzle behavior at www.director-online.com. It is a
Multimedia Handyman entry. Perhaps it can help.
