I have changed the order of the two hard drives in my PC what was formerly
hda is now hdb and vice versa. The original hda is a Linux RH6.0
installation and hdb Windows. Lilo is installed on the Linux drive, I can
boot from a floppy and use the rescue option to get up and running but d

The only reason why i didn't use the registration address was bescause, I'm still not sure if i was going to be allowed to go. I din't want you to be expecting me there with a machine when I might not even be allowed to go. Sorry for any inconviences I may have caused.

Another option you might consider is submitting suggestions to the
Christchurch City Library for books for them to purchase. I think
they're quite interested in receiving requests for computer related
books 'cos it's kinda hard to pick good ones unless you're "in the know".

Have they fixed the errors in kwrite from M8.2 where the initial
highlighting and kwriterc was set up from katerc and neither kwrite or
kate could identify HTML comments or highlight the
/dev/mouse did link to ttyS0
So I ran configmouse and changed from the generic serial to the Genius
serial "Intellimouse" and that fixed it!!
I even have my two computers pinging each other over the network now.
