Both kword and scribus do this easily, and both are out of the box,
i.e. no need to compile (well for me anyway). You might want to also
install a large number of fonts, which you'll have to source from
something other than a
for you.
It's good - but so far I haven't been doing terribly much with it - I've got
some experience with MS Publisher, though, and I find it easy to transfer my
skills across.
