Hello all. I am wondering about using LTSP with a 802.11b wireless NIC, but
without a floppy drive. As I understand it, one cannot use etherboot when
using a wireless card (what about PXE?), so a kernel must be on a local
storage device. I would like to use a Compact Flash as a local memory
Hi!
I installed ltsp_x_xvesa-3.0.0-i386.tgz, and added XSERVER = XF86_xvesa in
the workstation section of lts.conf file.
When I boot my terminals I get stocked with "initializing syslogd" message.
What causing this message?
How do I uninstall the vesa driver?
Thanks!

Hi!
But if I put that same monitor to other terminals having a different video

problem, what's commong among them is their video card.
What gives?
Thanks!

It appear that local cdrom/floppy feature is dependent on two libraries
ltsp-glibc and ltsp-ltsptree.
Can this feature be installed on LTSP 4.0?

Joey,
"Out of range" simply means the video card is attempting to push the
monitor beyond its limits.
take a look at:

Joey,
Just as your monitor is telling you, your video card is capable of
displaying a screen resolution that is out of the monitor's range. Try
specifying a resolution in your lts.conf file. I'd probably start with
800x600. You probably do not need to play with custom modelines.

Just to inform that there is a type error in the /etc/audiolist file.
There is an "trindent" instead of "trident".

Hi,
1.- For Ltsp 4.0 and earlier, I have XERVER = vesa to use for my terminals
with via UniChrome on board (via KM400). For Ltsp 4.1 I can use XSERVER =
auto or XSERVER = via, but the screen is not very fine managed. For example,
the screen shrink (auto and via), the rdesktop-script only start at 6
