Given that you have the time to experiment:
Try to mount the SMB shares manually and see if it helps. If it does, put
it in a script that can be run on thin
Try installing LTSP-4.1 to a different directory, and then change your
root-path and /etc/exports entries to point to the new location.

What version of LTSP are you using ?
For LTSP-3 and LTSP-4, grab the ltsp_initrd_kit from the LTSP download
page. It contains the config file, and the source are straight from
kernel.org.
For LTSP-4.1, you need the LBE. It contains everything you need to

I've been properly configured ltsp-3 environment but I installed version 4.1
to same path. Could I change or replace any files from previous version?
My root-path is: option root-path"192.168.0.16:/opt/ltsp/i386/";
192.168.0.16 is my ltsp-server.
