I am deploying a thin-client environment and just wanted to know if any
one had suggestions on to which 17inch lcd, would work the best.

I use raid1 and sata disks on single bastion type servers (one server
for a group of users). Perhaps something else would be better in a HA
cluster sort of setup.
I even had a disk failure a couple of months ago. I changed the disk
at lunchtime and the users didn't even notice. :)

Which player are you using?
I am using XMMS with esound output plugin and it is working just fine
(never had any problems). Or, actually, the only problem I had was when
connecting to Solaris/Sparc XDM server - volume control did not work
properly.
