hi all,
I have a problem with my wheel mouse, it can't be use to scroll down/up in
ltsp-4.2.
I use hp thinclient t5000
my configuration for mouse is like this
# Mouse
X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/psaux"
X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL = "PS/2"
X_USBMOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/input/mice"
hi Jim, thanks for your reply
I try what you told, I add X_VIDEORAM = 4096 to my lts.conf but the screen
still turn to blank.
I remember that this pc is using 2 different ethernet card, onboard intel
and accton (ne2000) pci,
when I remove the second ethernet (accton) then try to boot again the sc
Hi all...
I'm fairly new to this LTSP thing, so maybe I'm missing something.
If so, feel free to hit me over the head with a FAQ.
My host server is an i386 box running CentOS 4.3. Host kernel is
2.6.9-34.ELsmp; host glibc is 2.3.4-2.19. I've got the LTSP 4.2 base
system working great. Alm

Perhaps I'm not clear. I meant to say that on the first time round I
got a second entry for the usb device. Now, on the second plug, I just
get de floppy entry.
Chris.
Just a side thought, I've been using LDA-New to mount
my usb, floppy and cdrom for about three months now. The library gets a
bit of use and I've only had one problem with mounting and unmounting
and that was do to a terminal being shutdown before being logged out.

Hi List,
I'm trying out ltsp4.2. Thankyou very much to you all.
When I plug in my usb drive, I get the icon on the Desktop and it gets
mounted on Drives/usb.
When I unplug the drive, the icon disappears and gets unmounted.
When I plug it in again nothing happens although on the terminal dmesg

I have a network running LTSP. One of the terminals is a LPT printer host with a Samsung 550N attached. The terminal is at a static IP address. For months now it has been working fine using lprng & CUPS. The lprng was setup to print to lpd://192.168.40.5:9100 and CUPS was set to use the lprng s
Kemas,
We've been finding lots of people having trouble with the i810 driver.
It seems that the latest driver is having some trouble figuring out how
much video ram is available.
Try adding the following to your lts.conf file:
X_VIDEORAM = 4096
Also, I'd take out that X_MODE_0 line in y

Hi folks,
Jim McQuillan gave a lecture, last week, here in Brazil about the
LTSP 4.2 state (a very good lecture!!)
He told us we can put at ltsp.conf an entry enabling the SWAP over
the network.
I'd like to sugest a complimentary approach (as I did to him here
in Brazil)

I found it interesting. Or rather, I saw it as an invitation to tell BBC
about LTSP, so I did (via their general feedback form). I suppose there
