Shrenik,
LTSP just provides the terminal services to get a gdm login screen
from a server on your network. That server may or may not be the same
one LTSP is installed on and operates from.
Once you are logged into that server all your apps consume memory
there, the LTSP server (if is is s
their sole purpose: LTSP!
I have no doubt the concept will work fine serving many users. It is
fast and reliable.

I have seen similar threads here re: random workstation lockups.
We use Neoware Capio thin clients with LTSP 4.1 and we experience
lockups also. Since we are new to LTSP and the Capios we first thought
the problem may be hardware level mouse issues with the Capios.

We also use iSeries and I have had this problem. You need to add to your
lts.conf a parameter to tell the workstation where its font server is.
This is probably your (X)server, but could be any server.
Try:
XFS_SERVER = 192.168.10.182
USE_XFS= Y
