Hello.
We have over 40 clients connected to our server. Clients vary from
Pentium 100 Mhz/64 mt to Celeron 2400 mhz/256 mt. We are using
Ubuntulinux, with full Gnome 2.10 desktop, with OpenOffice, Firefox (with
flash and java-plugins), Gimp 2.2 etc... Everyhing works very smoothly.

There is a open source freeNX server that works very well (use Google..),
and you can download free client for various operating systems (Linux,
Windows, OS X, Solaris, even HP iPAQ) at NoMachine.

That's right, i'm talking about Itanium servers (HP Integrity rx1600) with
SLES9, this server has 2 CPU of 2.1GHz and 1Gb of RAM.
It should serve at least 100 users, all working with OpenOffice (lots of
work), Evolution and Mozilla.
