Anybody tried to run chromium browser as a local app?
Installing in chroot is simple, browser starts on a thin client but
nothing appears on the screen.
The SingletonLock file is created in ~/.config/chromium directory but
nothing else happens.
Any ideas?

I'm testing 10.04 ltsp environment.
After yesterday system update the ltsp-update-image just stopped
working, nothing happens after executing the command.
Anybody noticed such a problem?

Anyway:
1. 128 MB RAM per TC is not enough in my opinion.
2. Do you have 1GB switch or plain 100MB?
3. Did you try different browser, eg.Opera or Chromium, even just for testing?

Ad 2.
You can create a 'template' user, fine-tune all the user setting,
remove unneeded icons, install firefox plugins, lockdown some gnome
apps and settings etc., then copy the whole content of the user folder
to /etc/skel.
You can also change the location of media mounted on the server

Regarding /usr/share/ldm/rc.d/S10-delayed-mounter - at first attempt
it gave me "Permission denied" - after quick check it seemed that none
scripts in /usr/share/ldm/rc.d/ were executable, I have no idea why.
