Can anyone
enlighten me on how to get it to pull the client.conf I specified in

I would count on nVidia screwing things up, which means you
are probably stuck with two chroots.
Is there something you need to have out of the nVidia drivers (ex:
openGL, VDPAU etc.)? If not it is a lot easier to just run the open
source driver.

Yup, I found that restriction the hard way also. I don't see any good

However, like I said above, cache is a good thing and in general you
should not be trying to prevent your system from using it. Think of
cache as a dynamic SSD but much faster. Who wouldn't want that?

AM is being used, but about 10 GB of that is
buffers and cache, so your apps are only using about 3 GB.
You should be grateful for all that cache. That's about 9 GB of stuff
that can be read straight from RAM instead of hard drives.

I have found these boards work well. They, like most Atom stuff, will
run DDR2 800 but at lower 533 clock speed IIRC. They should have
everything else you are looking for.

underpowered. I don't think the issue is the CPU but rather something
about the Via X driver.
Unfortunately I gave up on that Via board before ever finding the

I use a lot of Intel D945GSEJT motherboards as thin clients. They
generally work well but by default the two MIC inputs (MIC and
FRONT_MIC) are cranked which adds a lot of white noise to the audio.
Here's my changes to turn off the MIC inputs:
1. In lts.conf add:

i think i identified by logging into the mini-itx and examining
/proc/pci. your card's ID might be different, but the problem you are
having sounds the same as the one i had. once i added that line and
rebooted the mini-itx, X came up fine.

trying to get the numlock to magically turn on under ltsp 4.0. I
installed the package. I can't find an Xsetup_workstation and putting
/usr/bin/setnumlock into Xsetup_0 doesnt seem to make it run. Could
somebody point me to the right place to add this command?
