And when using PXE NIC, what is the difference to compile a new kernel
(sing OpenMOSIX patch)?

One of the main advantage of X terminals, IMHO is the power save.
Here in Brazil electricity is very expensive...
So, one good think is cnofigure the time to X turn off the monitor when
the machine is idle (and thats common).

But, the background on KDM screen login is the grey style of X. Not a

rpm -qa | grep tftp
if you have the tftp-server installed
If no, install it. You find it on the CD3.

I have a machine with Mandrake 8,2 to act as a ltsp server.
When in init 5, it loads X and go to login screen from gdm.
Then I installed ltsp rpm's, and now it enters in init 5, loads
gdm in background but does not load X anymore. When I
did a X -query localhost it goes to X and login
I have two terminals with Windows inside.
One I burned a EPROM and put in the NE2000 board, with the
option to boot from Network (default for 3 seconds) and Local
HD. When you select Local, it loads Windows Me. When you
