That is because Mandrake has built their own patch for
displaying the graphic logo during boot up.
Sure, I could grab their patch, modify it for our needs,
but I just haven't had the time to do that.

Linux Version 2.4.18-6mdk,
And mdk 8.2 have a nice and clean graphical booting.

After installation, in /tftpboot/lts you will find two versions for vmlinuz,
eg:
=> vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-5
=> vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-5-lpp
or similar.
Specify vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-5-lpp
