We have about 180 clients connecting to citrix using LTSP. We were using LTSP 3,
but I am testing LTSP4 now. With LTSP4 we have problems with our lower end PC's.
Some of the clients with only 16 MB of RAM see very slow performance, slower than with
LTSP3. Upgrading the RAM fixes the issue.

Other clients with lower end video cards have problems when using excel through
citrix. When they have Excel open and scroll down or press Enter to go to the next
line, the Title and toolbar paint themselves down the screen until it fills the
screen. It looks like you have several excel windows on top of each other with only
the Tile bar and tool bars showing. The anomaly shows itself in Internet Explorer,
but is most readily reproduced in Excel. This is a graphics issue only as the
application continues to function as it should. upgrading the video card fixes the
problem.

I know that these are very low-end workstations, but I do not have a budget to upgrade
all of them. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could change in LTSP4 to resolve
this issue? If I can't resolve it I will have to roll back to LTSP3 until I can
upgrade the PC's.
