I agree with the Two server idea.
But
One) Why make one server Windows?
Better yet make it a clone of the LTSP that can take over if the main server
goes down.
Two) Why use Win4Lin hardware being cheap make this second server have scsi or
fast sata drives that allow for multiple sessions of Windo

I never checked the VMWare liscensing. if you're running the free
version, then you should be fine. if you're running the liscences
version, then you'll probably have a clause preventing it (not that this
will stop you mechanically, but still).

I do not understand and may have missed it but why not run vmware server
I am about to finish setting it up now in a LTSP to run Quickbooks and Library
software. So now any staff member can login to open up or restore a vmware
server client?
Just a thought.

I have the same challenge, but I'm utterly confident that QuickBooks will
NOT run under Wine - or any other such program. So I'm preparing to
install Windows Server 2003 as a virtual machine, then QB on it. My plan
is to allow LTSP users, and perhaps other LAN clients, to

LTSP will give you a Linu
I don't think it's possible for the purpose you are looking for. You

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to emulate Windows applications using Wine and use LTSP
to run a terminal server setup. Is this possible, am I looking at the
right project for this sort of an application?
Thank you for your time.
