Remi,
Try adding this to lts.conf:
X_MODE_0 = 640x480 31.5 640 664 704 832 480 489 492 520 +hsync +vsync
That should be all 1 line.
Jim.

Thanks Jim and Martin and the list,
I tried the X_COLOR_DEPTH in the lts.conf file and XFree still stops :
SVGA : WD : Signature for WD90C[23]X=[0x32 0x34]
SVGA : WD : Detected : 90C24 Try 90C30 or 90C31 if this doesn't work
SVGA : WD : FP Lock=0xa0
SVGA : WD : Current Clock

this is the reason.
try
X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8
or maybe
X_COLOR_DEPTH = 15
in lts.conf

Remi,
You said that it only supports 256 colors, so you
need to add:
X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8
to your lts.conf file.

Remi,
I had the same problem with my 486DX and WD90c33 card [western
digital], capable of bpp 8 and 800x600.
Do this to /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf file :
[ws001]
XSERVER = XF86_XVGA
X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8
X_VIDEORAM= 512
X_MODE_0 = 800x600 [try without this

512 K RAM is not enough for 1
Hi again the list,
I tried both packages : ltsp_x336_svga and ltsp_x336_16vga.
The screen flashes 3 times, then, here are the logs with ltsp_x336_svga
package :
_
SVGA : WD : Signature for WD90C[23]X=[0x32 0x34]
SVGA : WD : Detected : 90C24 Try 90C30
