Hi Saurav, Please provide following information which might help in further diagnosing the problem: 1. What version of LTSP are you running on which OS ? 2. How is your tftp server configured ? (in inetd mode or xinetd mode) ? 3. What all arguments are passed when starting tftp server ? 4. What d

Hi Saurav, The file to be loaded by LTSP is configured through /etc/dhcpd.conf and the syntax is like this: filename "/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.21-ltsp-1"; This file can be found on the system inside /tftpboot/ directory. Check if the file exists, if it has different name modify the dhcpd.c

Glenn, You need to include a 'filename' parameter in the dhcpd.conf file. The workstation doesn't know that it is supposed to download /lts/vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-6 Take a look at http://www.LTSP.org/instructions-3.0.html for more info on what your dhcpd.conf file should look like. Jim McQuillan [E

Alan, Are you using Red Hat? In Red Hat the TFTP server chroot's to /tftpboot with the -s parameter in inetd or xinetd. Therefore you would need to change the path to the file to /lts/vmlinuz*. _ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
