Remi, I had the same problem with my 486DX and WD90c33 card [western digital], capable of bpp 8 and 800x600.
Do this to /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf file : [ws001] XSERVER = XF86_XVGA X_COLOR_DEPTH = 8 X_VIDEORAM = 512 X_MODE_0 = 800x600 [try without this 1st] ... ... ... You will likely get 800x600 and 256 color [8bit]. Hope this work for you. Good luck. > From: Remi BERNHARD <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I tried both packages : ltsp_x336_svga and ltsp_x336_16vga. > The screen flashes 3 times, then, here are the logs with ltsp_x336_svga > package : > > _____________________________________________ > > SVGA : WD : Signature for WD90C[23]X=[0x32 0x34] > SVGA : WD : Detected : 90C24 Try 90C30 or 90C31 if this doesn't work > SVGA : WD : FP Lock=0xa0 > SVGA : WD : Current Clock is 0x5 > SVGA : WD : Chipset : wd90c24 > SVGA : WD : Videoram : 512 K > SVGA : WD : Clocks : 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 > SVGA : WD : Clocks : 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 28.32 > SVGA : WD : Clocks : 44.80 > (**) SVGA : 16bpp not supported for this chipset > > *** A configured device found, but display modes could not be resolved *** > > Fatal server error: > no screens found -- Best regards, Bill mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
