Laddiealpha and DLplus do the same thing, they're just different
implementations of the server/disk side of the tpdd protocol. There are
some differences in how they map to/from 6.2 filenames and how they deal
with misnamed ASCII BASIC files. Probably some other features.
But for most functionalit
Wow, that was harder than I expected. I had to read through a ton of
stuff, but I finally managed to get Rex back on the menu and CPM with
the hotkey...Now, I am trying to remember why I got Rex in the first
place... seems like I was cramped with 32k (I doubt it, but the modern

KaaS? Does he have a documented API?

Interesting idea. A peephole optimizer that self generates with maybe a
recursive backtracking algorithm.
I think it would be a little tricky? First you have to define "equivalent
code." Executing code changes the state of the cpu registers including
flags, the RAM, and has side effects on I/o spa
LOL!

Does anyone know if there is a superoptimizer for the Intel 8085 (or maybe
for the Z80)?
A superoptimizer in this context is a program that takes as its input an
assembly language source code file and then it tries a brute force search
of all possible machine language instructions (up to a certain

Hi Guys, I hope it's OK to resurrect an old email thread. My DVI Gotek is still
working well with my T102, but I've added a T200 to my collection and I'd like
to add a disk image for the T200 onto the Gotek. I still haven't figured out
how to create a disk image, so if anyone can help to either
What a great thread! :) Very late to the party but will add a couple of
books. Not M100-specific, but if you’re interested in a couple of very
good general 8085 books, I would recommend these. The first is a
self-contained course (probably a quite popular textbook originally), while
