Ian,

This tends to mean that a field mentioned in the workspace file is not
present in a table.

Have a look at the extract below at the line underlined.  Your workspace
file will be looking at one of the layers and expecting a column named 'id'
if it's not there the error will be generated.

Remedy:

Look in the workspace file and locate the layer in which the 'id' is
mentioned.  Work out which table it refers to by looking in the 'Map from'
statement.  Then look in the table for the correct column name and change it
in the workspace.  It should now open correctly.
