There are several Sony DPA-300 picture MD editing/play decks on ebay. They are

is, will it play and record regular audio minidisc through a

They must have dropped seriously in price, as when I was buying them a year
ago, is was US$19.95 for 5 discs at Circuit City, and they were the plain

Hello List,
I have a Sony JE510 deck which won't eject the disc. I hear a
whirring/plastic sound then nothing. When I turn it off and on again
reads "blank disc" but when put into record mode flashes "loading error"
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this? Is it worth

A unit this big playing only MP3 really makes very little sense, unlike
a portable DVD player. Yet as nice as portable DVD players are, a really
nice laptop makes much, much more sense. You can plug all the following
now or soon into one of these cool workhorses:
DVD-ROM or DVD-RAM/RW

Thought I'd post something to the list that I'd posted to AAM, just in case
there's anyone on the list more likely to know...
Anyways, here goes:-
I've recently bought a Sharp MD-X5H (bookshelf MD recorder, CD player, and
RDS tuner), and I've looked on minidisc.org, but can't find any info

Has anyone had experience with this deck? Just curious.

Is there such a thing as a portable with recording and built-in FM radio?
Who makes it? How much does it cost?

Some jokers have finally come up with a decent mp3 player, if you could call
mp3 decent.. it holds 4.86gigs - 81 hours of music - This not-so-little
beauty looks like its going to have a big impact on the mp3 scene, which may
ripple over into the MD market, and spark another round of fat

Hi,
I guess most of us here are highly intelligent guys (?) so I thought
I'd throw this question to you. It is sorta relevant as more processor
power helps with MP3 crunching.
I want to overclock my CPU, but using the BIOS setup opti

My recomendation is for the MZ-R37. It has a lot going for it. The R55 is
a nice and small unit, but it suffers from very short battery life.
I like my MS-702 as well. It has supplanted my MZ-R30 as the carry unit of
choice for me. The slot-lo
Hello,
I think the Memorex blanks are just fine. I have no trouble with
them at all, and the prices are excellent. I've been getting mine at
Circuit city for the price of $29.99 for 20 MD's, you really can't beat
that deal! They look just about the same as the Sony color discs as

My 702 is having a very strange volume problem. The volume only has two
levels, 0 (no sound) and 1-30 (every setting between 1 and 30 is the same
level, which is very very very quiet, probably equal to the 1 setting on
nomal 702's). But, to make matters even more strange, the "beep" sound is
