I use Soundforge for my dynamics processing (ie. Volume) and Cooledit Pro
for flavouring the sound thanks to its abundant 30-band EQ.
Otherwise, as far as what they have to offer in their other features, I
would consider Soundforge to be a more powerful package bar its sorely
lacking EQ.

Hello.
I own a Japanese model Sharp 722. I had sent it once to get fixed for UTOC
error to Japan while it was under warranty. Now I'm not under warranty, and
I think if I send it to Japan, pay for getting it fixed, and pay for it to
get back, it won't be worth it.

How well does "english" work with the Japanese software, if at all.
Where did you get the link and how much was it?

I use Sound Forge for editing music files for both minidisc recording, and

Use one that has a 5V DC output at least, otherwise, if it's only available

No line out and no rechargeable battery supplied. It's a poor man's recorder
and doesn't really have much to offer as opposed to Sony's R37, in my
opinion.

This doesn't sound like a particularly good situation, electrically.
It looks like the portable runs off roughly 2.4-3V amd you are dropping in
around 4.5V.

Thanks for the information on these. Have you had a chance to compare
these with Sennheiser 580's? I'd like to know what you think. The
Sennheiser's really don't get much volume out of the portables and are
fairly large and goofy looking for wearing that way although they work

Hi all,
does anyone on the list actually own a 80 minute MDs with a modified
TOC that allows to exceed the recording time to 85 or more minutes?
I already own a modified MD that allows me to change normal 74's into 80's,
but now the need has come up for even longer MDs, so if anybody can lend
