Just got my Etymotics. (4S)
I am listening through them to a CD play on my computer as i write
this. The isolation from outside noise is amazing. The computer
internal CD player headphone output will drive them louder than i can
stand to listen. (solo Alto recorder CD)

I ordered some Hi-Space MDs from them. It took seven days for them to

so is that sharp internet minidisc package deal working out for people?
ive been looking into the best way to move files from a desktop to my

sharp thing is decent maybe ill pick that up. whats the sharp package
going for now?
Yes, I just got a call from Jacob on answering machine and he said they
goofed. I guess they read MD-L because he used my name instead of my moms
(who ordered). Minidisco made a mistake so what, at least they are
addressing the situation.

Well, here's the response I got from Jim Crawford, looks like they're
fixing the goof. Again, if you ordered one from them already, ask for
(demand) a refund from them until they get the correct cases in stock
(which won't be for a good month, at least).

Brian,
I just got an email from Egghead with the Sharp MDMS702B portable recorder
available for $149. That's a heck of a deal. About $100 less than I paid for
mine.

Is it possible to record in mono mode on the JE320? I haven't been able to
find the option in the manual, but it would be very useful to get the 148
minutes or so of recording time (particularly since the incoming signal is
mono anyway).

Depends on the deck, and depends on the bookshelf system. :-)
If you get good equipment you shouldn't notice any difference in
quality. The shelf system has the advantage of having the other components
available to listen to and play with as well. The big thing to watch

When recording MP3s to MD, it has been reccomended that one use a digital output card

my cd player for my stereo. If I co

That's right because when recording in mono, you essentially get double the
