I currently use multiple addaptors for mine, from my sony cd-walkman (4.5v
500ma), from my casio HPC (5v 2a), and from my casio digital camera (6v
1.5a). Yes I live dangerously, but screw it they all are working sharing
each others addaptors.

It's actually not "dangerous" to live undervoltage, say 4.5 vs 5. The
unit will just work fine. The 6v might not be too dangerous, but will
probably produce just more heat ..
