Actually...it's equal or greater value. They can not offer you something
of lesser value in replacement without refunding at least part of your money.

On the back of the keyboard you should find two RCA type phone jacks.
(I think they call them Cinch jacks in Europe)

Does anyone know more in depth about the format of this signal ? I'm
wondering if I can rig something up to my portable. I do have a handsfree
kit, but it does not have a cradle. It's more of the mic/headset type.

I would like to ask [EMAIL PROTECTED] and also liteways to please not
put such long quotes into your posts, they are completely unnecessary
and in fact the latest digest was probably more quotes than original
messages! It's a huge waste of bandwidth and time!

Hi All,
I recently purchased a MDX7900 head unit. it has a telephone mute lead.
Apparently when it is connected properly, the unit mutes the volume when there
is an incoming cell call.
My question is, how do I connect this ? Is there suppose to be a lead from the
cell phone tha

Yes, it's possible to record directly to your sharp unit... in analog way...
You must have a output on your keyboard and enter it on your input in your
unit. Otherwise, if you have a digital output on your keyboard, you will be
able to record it digitally...
So, Jim, what do you think of my new signature ?
If there is something wrong with it, just let me know... Thanks.
By the way, when we have special promotion, is it better to put them on my
signature on in a special message ?
Hope to hear from you soon...

If it's a plain MIDI keyboard (ie. it sends MIDI signals only, nothing
else) then you'll need a module that converts the MIDI data to some kind of
notes (you can

What little I know about MIDI is that midi files contain no actual sound
data, only instructions for how to play a piece on a synthesizer or
keyboard. SInce no actual sound comes out of the midi jack, you won't be
able to do the midi-digital connection you were hoping for. However, if

Shouldn't be too difficult, I'd think.
I can think of two ways to do it...
A) Hook your keyboard to your PC via the MIDI ports, and record out
through your sound card's speaker out
B) If your keyboard has any sort of stereo audio out (ie, line out to a

I need to purchase a microphone (inexpensive) for my mini. I need to make
music recordings from it (for my church choir) and they need to be adequate,
but certainly not concert quality. Suggestions?

Hi ppl,
I am looking for a portable player and came across the Sharp MD-ST55 at the
Community pages. So is it worth the money? As far as I can tell from the
design view it's beautiful! Also I wanted to ask if anybody knows if this
unit is available in the United States.
thanx
