just from reading, i would say you will probably get more $$$ from the r50,
but if you do a lot of recording, also from reading i say keep the r50. i'd
say get rid of the 722, but that's just my opinion.

It is about 3 volts or so and provides power to run a small condenser
mike. It will not run a mike that requires 48v phantum power.

Plug-in power means that the mike itself doesn't have any power source, but feeds off
the recorder.
